How to play?

🔓 Step 1: Boot up Super Meat Boy Forever and adjust any settings you want changed in the menus, like control schemes, sound levels, screen filters, and more. When you're ready to rescue Nugget, select "New Game" to begin the journey!

👟 Step 2: Use the left stick/D-pad to run and the face buttons to jump, punch, and kick. Dash through the intro levels to get a feel for Meat Boy's fast, slippery movement and tight controls. Learn to steer him precisely.

❗ Step 3: When you see hazards like spinning sawblades, lasers, or spikes, be ready to quickly react. Slide under obstacles, wall jump for extra height, and time jumps precisely to avoid dangers. Death will come often - persistence is key!

💀 Step 4: After each death, you'll instantly respawn and can dash forward at a blistering pace thanks to Forever's quick respawn system. Maintain momentum and learn from each failed attempt. Resist frustration!

🎁 Step 5: Collect bandages hidden in levels to permanently unlock new playable characters like a skeleton boy, ninja, and more! They each handle differently, so try them all out for new platforming challenges.

❤️ Step 6: Earn dark hearts to give you extra chances if you run out of lives on a level. Replay previous levels in Dark World variants to collect even more hearts and bandages.

🚪 Step 7: At the end of each level cluster, you'll face off against a wacky boss. Learn and adapt to their attack patterns. Look for openings to strategically unleash punches, kicks, and butt stomps on them!

Branching paths let you choose different level sequences on each new run.
