The heart of Wingspan beats within its sublime art and soundscapes — each bird card is meticulously illustrated, granting life to your digital aviary, all the while a symphony of chirps and songs delivers an immersive naturalistic backdrop. This, paired with gameplay that combines card collecting, engine building, and tactical planning, transmutes the simple joy of birdwatching into a compelling video game. How to play?

📜 Step1: Begin your ornithological escapade by selecting the habitat in which you wish to start attracting birds. You'll have three to choose from: Forest, Grassland, or Wetland — each with its special benefits and bird types.

🥚 Step2: Acquire bird cards by playing them from your hand. To do so, you need specific food tokens and sometimes eggs. Play strategically, as the right birds can bring continuous benefits each round.

🌾 Step3: Gather food tokens from the birdfeeder dice tower, but remember, only certain types of food can attract certain birds. Be attentive to the dice and utilize the re-roll option if necessary to get the food combination you need.

🥚 Step4: Lay eggs on birds, which are essential for playing more powerful birds and scoring points. Managing your egg supply efficiently is a key technique for victory!

📈 Step5: Expand your habitats strategically. Each bird played can activate a chain of powerful combinations that tie together your habitats. Observing these compilations and executing them for maximum impact is a critical gameplay technique.

🃏 Step6: Use the end-of-round goals to guide your strategy. These goals change with every game and will challenge you to adapt your collection tactics and manage your resources wisely.

🎲 Step7: After four rounds, count up the points from your birds, bonus cards, end-of-round goals, eggs, cached food, and tucked birds to see how your avian reserve stacks up against your rivals'. Remember, in Wingspan, it's the diversity and smart synergies that win the day, not just the quantity!
